dear john

I read this book last year Dear John by Nicolas Sparks. He is one of my favorite authors. Other books by him include the notebook, Nights in Rodanthe and etc. But back to this book its about a boy named John who has a troubled childhood and he enlists into the us army. When he comes home on leave he meets a girl named Savannah and they fall in love over the summer. When John goe back to Germany they keep in touch by writing letters to each other everyday.

Once John finally comes home from the army they plan on moving in with each other but then 9/11 happens and he re enlists. And thats where the story gets upsetting. Savannah fall in love with someone else and decides to marry him. But John still isnt over here.

But thats all for now i dont wanna give away the whole book. It's really good it's a tear jerker .I read the book 3 times and each time i cried. I cant wait until Feb because the movie comes out starring Channing Tatum (step up and g.i joe) and Amanda Seyfried (mean girls and mama mia). So im patently waiting for this movie to come.
